Most Constrained Kindle Scribe

PDF import works, but device-native notebook templates are still more limited.

Comparison Table

Tablet Best Format Import Method Template Notes Guide
reMarkable 2 PDF Desktop app, mobile app, or web upload to the cloud library Closest match to the original layout and sizing of these templates Open guide
Supernote A5X / A6X PDF Supernote Cloud, USB transfer, or Dropbox sync Use PDFs as reusable notebooks; PNG backgrounds need extra conversion work Open guide
Onyx Boox PDF USB, cloud storage, BooxDrop, or Android file apps Flexible import path; custom note-template support varies by app version Open guide
Kindle Scribe PDF Send to Kindle via app, web, or email Best as imported write-on PDFs; notebook-template replacement is limited Open guide

Recommended Format Strategy

For this repository, the safest cross-device workflow is to start with the exported PDF templates in /templates. PDFs preserve line weight, alignment, and page proportions better than PNG when imported into e-ink notebook systems.

PNG files are still useful for devices or note apps that support custom background templates, but those flows tend to vary by firmware and app version.

Supported Template Set

The Architect Canvas, Strategy Canvas, Orchestrator Canvas, Innovators Canvas, and AI Optimized Notebook can all be moved between supported tablets as PDFs.

Best default: use the PDF variant unless your device explicitly supports custom PNG notebook backgrounds.
